About Us

We are 256 Lacrosse Club, a nonprofit organization that brings the exciting sport of lacrosse to the Southeast side of Columbus. Our mission is to provide a fun, affordable, and accessible club option for youth and high school athletes who want to play lacrosse over the summer and improve their skills.

We started in 2021 as 256 Athletics, a 501©3 dedicated to creating opportunities for young athletes in our community. We launched our first two US Lacrosse-sanctioned club/travel lacrosse teams at the U10 and U12 levels in summer 2022 and expanded to 5 teams for the summer of 2023. In summer 2024, we have 8 teams ready to grow and compete together (different aged teams can be found in the header above).

Our club is more than just a team. It’s a family. We have incredible coaches who are passionate about the game and care about each player’s development. We foster a positive and supportive atmosphere where everyone can learn, grow, and have fun.
